1. Where we stand
Valoria Ventures LLC dba Service Leopard is committed to making Service Leopard usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or who need reduced motion or higher contrast.
Service businesses hire from every part of their community. Software that only works for some of your team is software that limits who you can hire. We treat accessibility as part of building the product properly, not as a compliance afterthought.
2. The standard we are working to
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard is also the reference point used by the Americans with Disabilities Act in practice, and by Section 508 for federal procurement.
We are honest about status: we are working toward full Level AA conformance and have not completed a formal third-party audit. We do not claim certification we do not hold. This statement will be updated as that work progresses.
3. What this website does today
- Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- A “Skip to content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menus, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Text and interface colours checked against WCAG AA contrast minimums, including the text over photographic backgrounds.
- Meaningful alternative text on images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Diagrams and product illustrations carry text descriptions of what they show, rather than being presented as unlabelled pictures.
- Ambient motion is disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
- Layouts reflow to narrow screens without horizontal scrolling, and support zoom.
- Form fields have visible, programmatically associated labels and clear status messages.
4. Known limitations
We would rather list these than pretend they are not there:
- No independent third-party accessibility audit has been completed yet. [PLACEHOLDER: ADD AUDIT DATE, AUDITOR AND SCOPE ONCE COMPLETED.]
- The product interfaces shown on this site are illustrations. Accessibility conformance of the Service Leopard application itself is assessed separately as features ship.
- Any documents or images supplied by third parties may not meet the same standard. Tell us if you hit one and we will provide an accessible alternative.
5. Compatibility
This site is built to work with current versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile, and with the assistive technologies commonly used alongside them, including screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS. It does not require JavaScript to read the content or to use the navigation.
6. Tell us about a barrier
If any part of Service Leopard is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. We want the specific page and what went wrong — that is far more useful to us than a general report.
Email [SUPPORT EMAIL — e.g. support@serviceleopard.com] with the subject line “Accessibility”, or call [BUSINESS PHONE NUMBER]. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within [PLACEHOLDER: RESPONSE TIME — E.G. 2 BUSINESS DAYS] and will tell you what we intend to do and when.
If we cannot fix something quickly, we will work with you on a usable alternative in the meantime.
7. Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, write to us at the address below marked for the attention of the accessibility lead. [PLACEHOLDER: CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL WHETHER A NAMED ACCESSIBILITY CONTACT OR ADDITIONAL COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE IS REQUIRED IN THE JURISDICTIONS YOU OPERATE IN.]
