1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses the Service Leopard platform operated by Valoria Ventures LLC dba Service Leopard, including your employees, contractors and anyone acting on your account. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Where this policy and the Terms differ, the Terms govern.
You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by your staff. Please make sure the people who use it understand these rules.
2. Prohibited content and activity
You must not use the platform to:
- break any law, or help anyone else break one;
- infringe someone else’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or contractual rights;
- store or transmit material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or that depicts or promotes violence or the sexual exploitation of any person;
- impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
- run a business or offer goods and services that our payments partner prohibits, or that require licences you do not hold;
- engage in fraud, money laundering, deceptive billing, or charging customers for work not performed;
- collect or process personal information without the rights and consents you need.
3. Communications and marketing
The platform can send email, text messages and other communications on your behalf. Those communications are yours, and the law holds you responsible for them. You must:
- have a lawful basis and any required consent before contacting anyone, including under anti-spam and telemarketing laws such as the TCPA, CAN-SPAM and their equivalents;
- honour opt-outs promptly and keep them honoured across your lists;
- identify yourself accurately and never use misleading sender details or subject lines;
- not send unsolicited bulk messages, and not buy or scrape contact lists;
- respect quiet hours and frequency limits that apply where your recipients are.
4. Platform integrity and security
You must not:
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the platform without our written permission — see our Security page for how to report an issue responsibly;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or data;
- upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt, damage or degrade the platform or its users;
- interfere with service to any user, including by overloading, flooding or denial-of-service activity;
- circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, access controls or billing, or share credentials to exceed the seats you pay for;
- scrape or bulk-extract data from the platform other than through an interface we provide for that purpose;
- reverse engineer the platform, except where that restriction is prohibited by law, or use it to build a competing product.
5. Fair use of shared resources
Some parts of the platform draw on shared resources — storage, messaging capacity, processing. Use them in a way that does not degrade the service for others. If your usage is materially out of line with normal business use, we will contact you before taking any action and work with you on a plan that fits.
6. Reporting a violation
If you believe someone is using Service Leopard in breach of this policy, email [LEGAL / PRIVACY EMAIL] with the details. We investigate every report we receive.
7. What happens if this policy is breached
Where we can, our first step is to contact you and give you a chance to put it right. If the breach is serious, ongoing, unlawful, or creates risk for other users, we may remove content, suspend the offending feature, or suspend or terminate the account — and where the law requires it, report the matter to the authorities. Section 10 of the Terms of Service governs suspension and termination.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform and the law change. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
